Компания была создана в 2009 году выходцами из игровых студий , и Эриком Шрёдером, Рэймондом Сниппе и Говардом Ньюмарком, также к ним присоединилась большая часть сотрудников Lighthouse Interactive ( была продана ими в конце 2008 года, занималась выпуском стратегий, симуляторов, игр в жанрах экшн и Adventure ).

Iceberg Interactive занимается распространением игр независимых разработчиков для Windows , macOS и Linux через традиционный ритейл и сервисы цифровой дистрибуции . Ключевыми продуктами являются стратегии в нишевых жанрах Sci-fi и 4X .
