Ирвинг Хоу ( англ. Irving Howe ; 11 июня 1920 — 5 мая 1993) — американский литературный критик, видный политический деятель «Демократических социалистов Америки» .

Биография

Родился в Бронксе (Нью-Йорк) в семье еврейских иммигрантов из Бессарабии — Нетти (ур. Гольдман) и Давида Горенштейнов, которые держали продуктовый магазин, разорившийся во времена Великой депрессии .

Политические взгляды
