Лесли Эндрю Гарай ( англ. Leslie Andrew Garay ; 6 августа 1924 , — 19 августа 2016 ) — американский ботаник венгерского происхождения .

Биография

Лесли Эндрю Гарай родился в Венгрии в 1924 году .

Он был куратором Oakes Ames Orchid Herbarium в течение 50 лет. Этот период его жизни был наиболее плодотворным. Лесли Эндрю Гарай занимался систематикой видов различных родов растений и изучил многие роды семейства Орхидные .

Скончался 19 августа 2016 года .
