Да́на Ребе́кка Арно́льд ( англ. Dana Rebecca Arnold ; род. 1961 ) — британский искусствовед и историк архитектуры . Профессор теории и истории архитектуры Мидлсекского университета . , приглашёный профессор Международного научно-исследовательского центра охраны китайского культурного наследия Тяньцзиньского университета . Автор бестселлера «История искусства: Очень кратское введение» , изданного на английском, арабском, боснийском, голландском, греческом, испанском, китайском, португальском, русском, шведском и японском языках.

Биография

Окончила (англ.) ( Университетского колледжа Лондона .

В 1997 — 2002 годах — редактор международного научного журнала (англ.) ( издаваемого Ассоциацией историков искусства ( англ. Association of Art Historians ).

В 1995 — 1999 года — старший преподаватель и директор Центра исследований в области архитектуры и декоративного искусства Лидского университета .

В 1999 — 2012 годах — профессор истории архитектуры Саутгемптонского университета , директор Центра исследований архитектуры и урбанизма Саутгемптонского университета ,

Была научным сотрудником в Йельском университете , Кембриджском университете . В (англ.) ( Центра Гетти Музея Гетти , где занималась выставочным проектом по открытию виллы Гетти в Малибу . Также была приглашённым профессором в университетах США, Канады и Великобритании.

Совместно с Белджин Туран Озкая ( англ. Belgin Turan Özkaya ) и Элвин Алтан Ергут ( англ. Elvan Altan Ergut ), под покровительством Британской академии, Саутгемптонского университета и Ближневосточного технического университета , работает на международным проектом «Амбивалентная география».

Член издательского совета British Politics Review Британского политического общества в Норвегии.

Свободно владеет французским языком, может читать на итальянском языке и работать латинским языком.
