Ирвинг Чернев ( англ. Irving Chernev ; 29 января 1900 , Прилуки , Полтавская губерния — 29 сентября 1981 , Сан-Франциско , Калифорния ) — американский шахматист и автор.

Сын Вильяма ( англ. William Chernev ) и Милли Будницкой ( англ. Milly Budnitzky ). Эмигрировал в США в 1920 году.
