Айлса Макгаун Кларк ( англ. Ailsa McGown Clark ; 1926 — 2014 ) — британский зоолог , специализировалась на изучении иглокожих .
Биография
Айлса Макгаун Кларк родилась в 1926 году. С 1948 года работала научным сотрудником на кафедре зоологии в Британском музее естествознания в секции иглокожих. В 1953 году выдвинута на должность старшего научного сотрудника; в 1958 году назначена главным научным сотрудником. В 1986 году вышла на пенсию. Она продолжала заниматься научной деятельностью, о чем свидетельствуют, помимо прочего, работы, опубликованные после 1986 года. Ее основной вклад в науку — это ревизии различных групп иглокожих, которые она обычно публиковала в сотрудничестве с другими исследователями.
