Rising Star Games была основана 10 июля 2004 года Мартином Дефризом как совместное предприятие Bergsala Holding и японского издателя Marvelous Entertainment . Marvelous Entertainment продала свою 50%-ную долю в Rising Star Games другому японскому издателю Intergrow в январе 2010 года . Rising Star Games открыла офис в Соединенных Штатах в Калифорнии в январе 2012 года .
