Interested Article - Acheloma

Acheloma — род раннепермских темноспондилов . Входят в состав семейства трематопид из надсемейства диссорофоид ( Dissorophoidea ), куда относятся самые наземные из темноспондилов.

Типовой вид — Acheloma cumminsi (синоним — Trematops milleri ). Как и другие трематопиды, Acheloma были крупными наземными хищниками, судя по их морфологии и микроскопическому строению костей .
